Support for variable fonts is a multi-phase process, and improvements are a high priority.

Currently Supported

• Proof a variable font’s default style. It currently works just like a static font file.
• Optical size (from a font’s opsz axis) adjusts dynamically with font size. This is particularly useful with the Waterfall layout, as it uses the correct optical size for each font size.
